An expert's take on the workshop findings most relevant to practicing HIV providers
HIV-infected patients have a higher prevalence of non–AIDS-related conditions than their HIV-uninfected peers, but the pathogenesis and optimal management of many of these co-morbidities is not well understood. For more than a decade, the International Workshop on Adverse Drug Reactions and Co-Morbidities in HIV has been one of the premier forums for discussion of these issues by a relatively small group of international experts.
