Will the NEJM Clinician content be presented in the same style as NEJM Journal Watch content?
NEJM Clinician focuses primarily on the research and guidelines of greatest interest to general practitioners, including internal medicine and family medicine, ambulatory and hospital-based care, pediatrics, and obstetrics/gynecology. But we continue to cover important articles in a wide range of specialties, and you can filter by topic on our Browse All page.
If the new product is called NEJM Clinician, why am I still seeing “Journal Watch” on the website?
Journal Watch is now an article type within NEJM Clinician — all our concise summaries of new clinical research fall into this categ
Do I still use the same username and password for NEJM Clinician?
You can use your existing NEJM Journal Watch username and password for NEJM Clinician if you:
Have an active NEJM Journal Watch subscription and no other NEJM Group subscriptions
Have a current NEJM Journal Watch registered user account and do not have an NEJM Group account
You will use your NEJM Group username and password for NEJM Clinician if you:
Have an active NEJM Journal Watch subscription as well as an active subscription to NEJM, NEJM Evidence, NEJM AI, or NEJM Catalyst
Do not have an active NEJM Journal Watch subscription, and you have an NEJM Group account
Can I still access the old NEJM Journal Watch website?
No. The NEJM Journal Watch website is being retired. Please use clinician.nejm.org going forward.
Can I still read NEJM Journal Watch content to which I previously had subscriber access?
Yes, NEJM Journal Watch articles will be transferred and available to subscribers on NEJM Clinician. Paul Sax's HIV and ID Observations will remain accessible but at a new location: https://blogs.nejm.org/hiv-id-observations.
Other blogs and audio features found on the Journal Watch site have been retired.

How do I renew or pay for my personal subscription to NEJM Clinician?
Visit NEJM Group My Account website to easily manage your subscription and update your billing information for your NEJM Clinician personal subscription.
If I’m a print subscriber, will I continue to receive my print newsletter?
Yes. If you previously subscribed to the NEJM Journal Watch General Medicine print newsletter, you’ll continue receiving it at the same twice-monthly schedule — now under its new name, NEJM Clinician Journal Watch Print Edition. The format, frequency, and trusted editorial content remain the same and you’ll also receive full access to the digital version of NEJM Clinician, which contains additional content and features.
Can I purchase a new print subscription to NEJM Clinician?
No. NEJM Clinician is intended as a digital-first experience, with all new subscriptions offered only in the digital format. Only customers who held an NEJM Journal Watch print subscription upon launch of NEJM Clinician will have the option to continue to receive and renew their personal print subscription.
Can I purchase NEJM Journal Watch back issues?
No. NEJM Clinician replaces NEJM Journal Watch as a product, and back print issues of NEJM Journal Watch are no longer sold. However, the archive of NEJM Journal Watch summary, guideline and drug update articles will be available on NEJM Clinician at clinician.nejm.org.
