Update on Opt-Out HIV Testing in Michigan

Last month, we published a summary listing the states that still require written consent for HIV testing despite current CDC recommendations. Michigan was on that list, but in fact, the laws there changed January 1, 2011, to allow either written or verbal consent. We apologize for the oversight.
