In the summary entitled “Preventing Chemotherapy-Induced Cardiotoxicity” (Journal Watch Cardiology January 3, 2007), the fourth sentence of the second paragraph contained an inaccurate statement. The sentence should have read, “At 1 year, incidence of the primary endpoint — a >10% decline in resting LVEF to <50% — was significantly higher in the control group than in the enalapril group (43% vs. 0%).” The words “enalapril” and “control” were inadvertently reversed. The revised story appears at http://cardiology.jwatch.org/cgi/content/full/2007/103/1.
We apologize for the error.
