To assess the effects of various interventions on glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1C) levels, investigators reviewed more than 4000 articles and performed a meta-analysis of data from 47 clinical trials of at least 12 weeks' duration involving 8538 patients with type 2 diabetes.
