Mycosis fungoides (MF) is the most common cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Most patients with MF have patches and plaques with an indolent course, but, in some patients, the disease can develop into large-cell anaplastic tumors. Clusterin is a glycoprotein implicated in many cellular functions, including apoptosis. Because clusterin is expressed by anaplastic large-cell lymphomas, these authors studied its role in the development of MF.
