In this multicenter, prospective, observational study, researchers examined changes over time in health-related quality-of-life measurements after epilepsy surgery. The investigators compared preoperative and postoperative quality-of-life scores in a cohort of 313 patients who underwent epilepsy surgery. Participants completed the Quality of Life in Epilepsy Inventory (QOLIE-89) at baseline, within 6 months after surgery, and at approximately 1, 2, and 5 years postoperatively.
