In the second paragraph of our summary (JW Gen Med Jun 13 2013), a hyphen was dropped from the sentence, “Tamoxifen and raloxifene were associated with excess thromboembolic events relative to placebo (by 4–7 events per 1000 women), but they were not associated with excess risk for coronary heart disease or stroke.” The rate of excess thromboembolic events was 4 to 7 per 1000 women, and not 47, as we stated previously. We apologize for our miscommunication.
