Extranodal natural killer (NK)/T-cell lymphoma (ENKTL), nasal type, is an aggressive Epstein-Barr virus–associated non-Hodgkin lymphoma that is more prevalent in Asia than in Western countries. Many patients — even those who present with localized disease and undergo intensive radiation therapy plus anthracycline-based chemotherapy — experience early relapse and death from local and systemic disease progression.
