As 5-year survival rates for children with Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) surpass 90%, investigators are seeking to better understand how treatment and other factors affect HL survivors over the long term. To that end, a multicenter team has assessed morbidity and mortality in HL survivors participating in the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study, an ongoing study involving approximately 20,000 individuals who received a diagnosis of cancer before age 21 from 1970 to 1986 and survived >5 years after treatment.
