The AAP assembled a committee of primary care physicians and specialists who partnered with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, and the American College of Chest Physicians to review the available evidence on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of bronchiolitis in children younger than 2 years.
