A Fond Farewell and a Warm Welcome

Dear Readers:

With this issue, we bid farewell to one of our founding editors, Howard Bauchner, MD, who has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). Howard was the inspiration for creating Journal Watch Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine and has been steadfast and exuberant in his contributions and commitment to our publication and our readers. We are very pleased with his remarkable leadership appointment but will miss him dearly. We wish him much success in his new editorial position.
