Physical activity can reduce blood pressure and help control weight, but does it affect broader dimensions of health? To find out, investigators in Australia used data from a longitudinal study to measure the effect of physical activity on health-related quality of life (QoL). In another study, investigators in Switzerland examined the effect of a daily running intervention on sleep quality and psychological functioning in adolescents without psychiatric disorders.
