Campaigns to end elective deliveries of uncomplicated singleton pregnancies before 39 weeks' gestation are gaining appropriate traction; however, optimal delivery timing for uncomplicated twin pregnancies has not been established. Irish investigators conducted a large, prospective cohort study to assess risk for perinatal morbidity and mortality associated with elective deliveries of uncomplicated dichorionic (DC) and monochorionic (MC) twins at various gestational durations.
