Although erectile dysfunction (ED) is thought to be unusually common among HIV-infected men, specific risk factors remain unclear, and patients often wonder whether individual components of antiretroviral therapy (ART) regimens might be responsible.
More than 4000 male participants in the large, prospective Swiss HIV Cohort Study answered a question about ED frequency for the first time during a routine study visit between December 2009 and November 2010.
