A correction to a summary published Oct. 25, 2013
The article “Clopidogrel Increases the Risk for Gastrointestinal Bleeding” was mistakenly published with incorrect dosage information. The first sentence of the second paragraph has now been corrected to read as follows:
“Researchers identified 3238 patients who took >150 doses (75 mg each) of clopidogrel during the 6 months prior to study enrollment.”
Also, a sentence in the original comment was removed. It incorrectly stated that the defined daily dose of clopidogrel in Taiwan was 150 mg. The correct defined daily dose of clopidogrel is 75 mg.
We apologize to our readers.
