Primary focal hyperhidrosis usually begins during childhood and is commonly palmar, plantar, or both. Treatment can be challenging and is not well studied in children. Topical antiperspirants, oral glycopyrrolate, iontophoresis, botulinum toxin injection, and surgical sympathectomy are treatment options.
