I am pleased to introduce this year's NEJM Journal Watch Neurology Top Ten Stories of 2015. As in years past, I have made these selections after carefully reviewing all of the year's summaries. In making the choices, I have tried to strike a balance between relevance to the clinician, recognition of landmark studies, and media publicity and public awareness. The sequence of stories is not intended to reflect their relative importance. I hope you find the list useful and thought-provoking.
The Neurology Top Stories of 2015, in no particular order, are:
Compelling Evidence That Modern Endovascular Therapy Improves Stroke Outcomes
Symptoms of Parkinson Disease a Decade Before Diagnosis
Barriers to Referral for Epilepsy Surgery Evaluation
