Vaccine refusal in specific immigrant communities (e.g., measles, mumps, rubella vaccine refusal among Somali families in Minnesota) leads to increased risk for outbreaks of vaccine-preventable disease. The extent of vaccination refusal among various immigrant communities is largely unknown.
