Patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) carrying the chromosomal translocations CMYC plus BCL2 and/or BCL6 — so-called double-hit lymphoma (DHL) — have poor treatment outcomes versus most DLBCL patients, as well as a high risk for central nervous system (CNS) dissemination.
To assess the role of consolidative autologous stem-cell transplantation (ASCT) for DHL patients in first complete remission following induction rituximab (R)-chemotherapy, investigators conducted a retrospective analysis at 19 U.S. academic medical centers.
