The Lancet Commission on Dementia Prevention, Intervention, and Care used the best available evidence to present the best practices to prevent, diagnose, and manage dementia. Although dementia incidence has decreased in some countries, the number of individuals with dementia is expected to increase from 47 million in 2015 to 66 million by 2030. Preventing or delaying the onset of dementia may reduce the global burden.
