The advent of biomarkers has allowed for the determination of Alzheimer disease (AD) pathology in the presymptomatic stage. Researchers from the BIOCARD study investigated whether AD biomarker measurements can predict conversion from normal cognition to mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in an individual.
