The arcuate uterus (one of the most common congenital uterine anomalies) is not believed to affect fertility, but data are scanty. Investigators at a single fertility center conducted a retrospective review of consecutive patients undergoing IVF and comprehensive chromosomal screening. All patients underwent three-dimensional ultrasound examination and hysteroscopy during the early follicular phase. Arcuate uterus was defined as a perpendicular depth from the interstitial line connecting the cornua ranging from 4 to 10 mm with a myometrial angle >90 degrees.
