Studies in men who are part of infertile couples have shown an association between testicular function and use of fish oil supplementation. Researchers assessed this association in 1679 young Danish men being examined for military service; 98 used fish oil supplements (dosage and type could not be determined). Compared with men who did not use supplements, supplement users were slightly older, less likely to smoke, and more likely to self-report high levels of physical fitness.
