Patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) often undergo surveillance via magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP). MRCP findings are used to determine which patients should undergo endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and which maneuvers are to be performed during the ERCP.
