Greater utilization of next-generation imaging, such as fluciclovine and PSMA (prostate-specific membrane antigen) PET-CT, has increased the numbers of patients diagnosed with limited metastatic oligometastatic prostate cancer. Although multiple approaches to managing this disease state have been attempted, limited prospective data are available to guide patient management.
