The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends annual low-dose computed tomography (CT) screening for people at high risk for lung cancer and states that eligible people should be informed of potential benefits and “substantial risk” for harms of CT screening (NEJM JW Gen Med Feb 15 2014 and Ann Intern Med 2014; 160:330). In this study, researchers reviewed website content of 81 academic medical centers and 81 state-matched community medical centers.
