Regarding the summary, “Hypertension, Medications, and COVID-19 Risks,” the study authors have retracted the first article summarized, Mehra MR et al., “Cardiovascular Disease, Drug Therapy, and Mortality in Covid-19,” published in the New England Journal of Medicine. In the authors' retraction, they state that they decided to retract the article after all of the authors were unable to validate the primary data sources.
