Cerebral amyloid angiopathy–related inflammation (CAA-ri) is a subtype of cerebral amyloid angiopathy, which is associated with subacute cognitive changes and vasogenic edema that are due to an autoimmune response to cerebrovascular β-amyloid deposits. In this retrospective study, researchers investigated whether immunosuppression affected clinical and radiographic outcomes and disease recurrence in patients with CAA-ri compared with untreated patients with CAA-ri.
