α-synuclein (α-syn) seeding activity in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), identified via real-time quaking-induced conversion (RT-QuIC), is a potential biomarker for Parkinson disease (PD), mild cognitive impairment, and dementia with Lewy bodies. Isolated REM sleep behavior disorder (iRBD) can occur years before onset of cognitive and motor symptoms in Lewy body disease.
