Maintaining persons with HIV (PWH) in care is key to achieving durable viral suppression, the goal of antiretroviral therapy. The Data-to-Care (D2C) public health–based approach utilizes HIV surveillance and clinical data to locate and reconnect out-of-care (OOC) PWH. The Cooperative RE-Engagement Controlled Trial (CoRECT) is a prospective randomized trial comparing D2C (local public health–based staff outreach) with standard of care (clinic-based outreach) efforts to re-engage and achieve viral suppression in OOC PWH.
