Computed tomography perfusion (CTP) has been used to select patients for mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke, particularly for patients presenting in extended time windows. Software packages are available that can quickly generate automated predictions of core infarct volume and ischemic penumbra from CTP images, but the comparability of their results remains an important consideration. In this retrospective study of data prospectively collected from September 2018 to November 2019 at a single center, researchers compared findings from three automated CTP packages.
