European Endocarditis Guidelines: 2023 Update

Background: These guidelines update the 2015 recommendations for management and prevention of endocarditis in adults.

Key Recommendations and Updates:

• Indications for antibiotic prophylaxis have been broadened regarding individuals at highest risk for developing endocarditis:
