Our article “Once-Daily Nevirapine Approved by the FDA” contained an error regarding the recommended lead-in period for patients who are initiating nevirapine, using the new formulation. These patients should receive the 200-mg tablet once daily (not twice daily, as we originally stated) for 14 days before switching to the 400-mg tablet once daily. No lead-in period is required for patients switching to once-daily nevirapine from standard twice-daily dosing.
