The Storz C-MAC video laryngoscope is a traditional Macintosh blade laryngoscope that has been modified near the junction of the middle and distal thirds of the blade with the addition of a digital video camera, which transmits an image of the glottic view to a portable LCD monitor. Researchers in Germany report early experience with C-MAC video laryngoscopy in 60 patients who required intubation for elective surgery. The manufacturer provided the devices.
