Key Points: This document updates guidelines last published in 2000. It discusses management of the various manifestations of cryptococcal infection in HIV-infected patients, organ-transplant recipients, and normal hosts and provides guidance for special clinical situations: infection during pregnancy, infection in children and in resource-limited settings, and infection with Cryptococcus gattii.
