Primary cutaneous B-cell lymphomas (PCBCLs) are a heterogeneous group of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas that appear in skin without evidence of systemic disease at the time of diagnosis. Investigators in the Netherlands explored the effectiveness of radiotherapy for PCBCL types as classified by the WHO-EORTC system.
This retrospective study of 153 B-cell lymphomas treated over a period of 20 years included 25 primary cutaneous marginal zone B-cell lymphomas (PCMZLs); 101 primary cutaneous follicle center lymphomas (PCFCLs); and 27 primary cutaneous large B-cell lymphomas, leg type (PCLBCL-LTs).
