Tongue Deviation in a Man with Alcoholism

Following an altercation in a bar, a 54-year-old alcoholic man developed right-sided facial pain; right-sided headache; and left hemiparesis that included the lower face, arm, and leg. The protruded tongue was noted to deviate sharply to the right (see image).
