During periods of acute illness and euthymia, an estimated 40% to 60% of patients with bipolar disorder experience deficits in attention, concentration, and problem-solving skills, as well as a broad range of functional impairments. This first-ever controlled study addressed both cognitive and functional difficulties in a targeted remediation program.
