The decline in breast cancer incidence that occurred during this decade has been attributed to less use of postmenopausal hormone therapy (HT; JW Oncol Hematol May 14 2007). However, prior investigations of this association have been limited by lack of data on adherence to mammography screening, risk factors for breast cancer, and HT types and doses.
