Rituximab-based chemotherapy is the accepted standard of care for initial treatment of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Although the specific cytotoxic regimen varies among institutions, R-CHOP (rituximab plus cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone) is most commonly used.
