2011 Infectious Diseases Guidelines

The ID guidelines published within the past year have some common themes and principles that apply to a wide range of medical problems.

In 2011, several guidelines for common pediatric infectious diseases were published. These guidelines, combined with clinical judgment, provide an excellent framework and sound basis for management of several acute pediatric issues.

American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for diagnosis and management of urinary tract infection in infants aged 2 to 24 Months
