Dear Readers,
After a decade of outstanding leadership, Sandra Ann Carson has decided to step down as Editor-in-Chief of Journal Watch Women’s Health. Dr. Carson, who has been with the publication since its launch in 1996, became its Editor-in-Chief in 1999. In this position, she recruited many of the dedicated clinicians who continue to serve on the board, and she created many of the innovative features that make Journal Watch Women’s Health so popular with its readers. The editorial board, the Journal Watch staff, and the leadership of the Massachusetts Medical Society are deeply grateful to Dr. Carson for her creativity, her clinical and editorial expertise, and her commitment to you, our readers.
