Adjuvant Osimertinib Improves Overall Survival in EGFR-Mutated NSCLC

In 2020, the primary analysis from the industry-sponsored, phase 3 ADAURA trial demonstrated a significant disease-free survival benefit with osimertinib over placebo in patients with completely resected stage IB–IIIA non–small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC; hazard ratio for disease recurrence or death, 0.17 for stage II–IIIA disease, 0.20 for stage IB–IIIA disease).
