Howard C. Herrmann, M.D., is the John W. Bryfogle Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine and Health System Director for Interventional Cardiology and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. In addition to being an active practicing cardiologist, Dr. Herrmann is an active investigator on many important clinical trials. His current research interest focuses primarily on new device therapies for valvular and structural heart disease. He is a past President of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and recently received the Master Designation of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Intervention.
