Jeffrey P. Callen, MD, is Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) and Chief of the Division of Dermatology at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Callen has done extensive clinical research, with an emphasis on issues that have implications for both dermatologists and general internists. He is an active lecturer and has authored or coauthored more than 400 academic publications, including 10 books. Dr. Callen has served as Vice President of the AAD. He wrote for NEJM Journal Watch Dermatology from 2000 until the publication’s closure in 2016.
