George J. Hruza is Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology and Otolaryngology at Saint Louis University Medical School and Director of the Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center, St. Louis, Missouri. He has research and clinical interests in laser surgery of the skin and dermatologic surgery. Dr. Hruza directs a St. Louis-based fellowship training program approved by the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology (ACMMSCO) and was on the ACMMSCO Board of Directors. He was Program Chair of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery 2003 Annual Meeting. An internationally known lecturer and scientific author, Dr. Hruza wrote for NEJM Journal Watch Dermatology from its inception in 1993 until 2012.
