Thomas D. Sabin is Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Neurology at Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston. He has broad research and clinical interests within neurology, including neurologic emergencies, coma, Parkinson disease and other movement disorders, leprosy, dementia, neuropathy, and stroke. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (in neurology) and a member of the American Academy of Neurology, for which he has served in several capacities. Dr. Sabin has authored numerous scientific articles, has been a section editor of a textbook on primary care and general medicine, and has edited a book on chronic fatigue syndrome. Dr. Sabin served on the NEJM Journal Watch Neurology Advisory Board from 1999 to 2010.
