Wendy S. Biggs, MD, became Assistant Division Director of Medical Education at the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2011. Before that, she was Associate Director of the Midland Family Medicine Residency Program in Midland, Michigan and Associate Professor in the Department of Family Practice at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, where her interests included medical education, primary care gynecology, family-centered obstetrics, and mental health issues. Dr. Biggs wrote for NEJM Journal Watch Women's Health from 2006 to 2011 and was Deputy Editor from 2009 to 2011.
