Dr. Green is Professor of Medicine Emeritus in the Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine, at the Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University. His clinical and research interests are in the area of bleeding and thrombosis. He has authored more than 300 journal articles and textbook chapters and has edited six books. He serves on the board of the American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology, a fellow of the American Heart Association, and a Master of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Green wrote for NEJM Journal Watch Oncology and Hematology from 2006 until 2019.
